Juggling around different ideas I have decided to create two
different logo ideas that are shown on the left and right side, for this class
I am going to use the first one just because it is narrowed down a little more
specifically to snowboarding. I chose the Ski and Snowboard logo because my
boyfriend and I can do both, but we mainly snowboard 98% of the time. There is also a photo of a camera in the middle because I love to take lots of photos wherever we go and some GoPro footage for a possible YouTube channel later down the road. This logo I feel really suits what I love to do in my free time during the winter time and to travel to the numerous resorts along the east coast and out west.
If you are not familiar with skiing or snowboarding there are around 178 ski resorts on the east coast alone which is awesome and hopefully, I can have the opportunity to visit each one. So far, we have been to 8 of the 178 resorts. I can not wait to share my adventure stories from the resorts we have visited and just giving pros and cons about each of the resorts.

These logos are really cool! I like how on the first one you have the goggles and a mountain placed inside them! That is a GREAT way to get people who love to ski or snowboard to check out a resort to ski or snowboard at. The color scheme for also goes with it as well! As for the second logo, I do like the mountain and the trees that are behind it and the snowflake! Have you thought of doing like an icy blue color to add instead of the red or maybe adding some icicles? But overall, these are great logos!

The first logo, in my opinion, is definitely the better of the two for you! Just like you said, it incorporates more of what your travels include. The camera, ski and snowboard, the snowflake and mountains, and the trees are all part of your travels and I think that this design is great for this blog. Your second logo is also cool because it has an older school, like 1970's or 80's, ski store vibe (if that makes sense). Even with that being said, I am still glad you chose the first logo over the second. Overall great job on these designs!
